DETOX Pink Salt Body Scrub 200g

I’m your proper pink salt body scrub — a hard-working exfoliator for seriously smooth, shave-ready skin. Pink rock salt, sea salt and sugar buff away the rough, dull stuff, while coconut and jojoba oils leave you soft, not stripped. Lightly scented, so the smooth skin does the talking. Use me before shaving, before fake tan, or whenever your skin needs a reset. Too tired to scrub? Toss a handful in the bath instead.

Scent: Pink Grapefruit & Lime.

PINK ROCK SALT

Full of skin loving minerals, the "pink" in my name. Pink rock salt crystals do the heavy lifting, buffing away rough, dry-feeling skin so you’re left properly polished. It also brings naturally  occurring minerals along for the ride.

SEA SALT

My back-up scrubber. Sea salt adds extra exfoliating power for the spots that need it most: knees, elbows, ankles and the backs of your arms.

SUCROSE

Sugar crystals round out my scrub, helping lift away dull, flaky surface skin. Salt brings the grit and sugar evens out the texture..

DOUBLE COCONUT OILS

This is why you rinse off soft. Coconut oils coat skin as you scrub, helping it feel conditioned and smooth rather than tight once the salt washes away.

JOJOBA OIL

Technically a liquid wax, and similar to the oils your skin makes naturally. Jojoba leaves skin feeling silky and comfortable, without a heavy, greasy finish.

VITAMIN  E

Pulling double duty. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that helps keep my oils fresh in the pouch, and it adds skin-conditioning goodness to every scrub.

GLYCERIN

A moisture magnet. Glycerin is a humectant, which means it draws in and holds moisture, so skin feels hydrated and comfortable after exfoliating.

PINK GRAPEFRUIT & LIME FRAGRANCE OIL

Fresh, zesty and deliberately kept light. You’ll smell it in the shower, but the smooth skin is the main event.

FAQs

I’m not trying to be a skincare treatment. I’m a proper physical scrub. Pink rock salt, sea salt and sugar do the polishing, while coconut and jojoba oils leave skin feeling conditioned rather than stripped. The result is serious exfoliation with a beautifully smooth finish.

Absolutely, I love going first. Exfoliating before you shave helps buff away the rough, dead surface skin that can get in your razor’s way, so it glides more smoothly. If your skin is easily irritated, scrub the day before shaving instead of straight before. Never use me on freshly shaved, broken or irritated skin.

💡 Bomd Tip: Follow with BOM BOM Whipped Body Cleanse & Shave for your smoothest shave.

I’m a scrub, not a treatment, so I won’t promise to fix either. What I can do is help buff away surface build-up, which is why so many people make exfoliation part of their shave routine. If bumps or irritation persist, it’s worth checking in with your GP or a dermatologist.

Yes, I make a brilliant canvas. Scrub the day before tanning, giving knees, elbows and ankles extra attention. Rinse well and follow your tan’s prep instructions.

*For best results, exfoliate the day before applying your tan, paying particular attention to areas such as knees, elbows and ankles. Rinse thoroughly and allow your skin time to settle before tanning.

Detox is made for people who like to feel their scrub working.

It provides a noticeable physical exfoliation rather than an ultra-gentle polish, so you don’t need to press hard. Massage it over damp skin using light circular movements and let the scrub do the work.

Wet your skin thoroughly in the shower or bath.

Take a small handful of Detox and massage it over your body using gentle circular movements.

Focus on areas that tend to feel rough, such as legs, knees, elbows and arms.

Rinse thoroughly.

Use once or twice a week, depending on what feels comfortable for your skin.

Yes — and this is one of the little bonuses of Detox.

Sprinkle some into warm running bath water and allow the salts to dissolve.

The warm water, mineral salts and conditioning oils create a relaxing soak while leaving your skin feeling soft and refreshed.

Because Detox also contains a gentle foaming ingredient, you may notice a little extra movement or light bubbling in the water.

*Scrub when you want polished skin. *Soak when you want to slow down.

If you are new to exfoliating with Body Scrub start with once a week.

For most people, 1–2 times per week is enough.

More exfoliation doesn’t necessarily mean smoother skin. If your skin starts to feel sensitive or irritated, reduce how often you use it.

Detox is a noticeable physical exfoliator, so if your skin is particularly sensitive or reactive, patch test first and use light pressure.

Never use a physical scrub on broken, irritated or sunburnt skin

Detox is designed for the body, particularly:

Legs · arms · knees · elbows · ankles · rough-feeling body skin

Avoid the face and other delicate areas.

Not at all.

Use it before summer when arms and legs come back out, before fake tan, before shaving, during winter when body skin feels rough and dry, or simply as part of your weekly everything showe

I smell beautiful but I don’t shout. My Pink Grapefruit & Lime is kept light, so the scrub is the main event and the scent is the bonus.

Absolutely. I’m handmade in small batches on the East Coast of Australia. Thank you for shopping local.
